My Beliefs about Technology and Learning

I believe that technology is very important to learning in the classroom for any subject.  It keeps the mind active rather than just staring at the teacher and listen to them talk. Also, even though it is not much, they are being active.  More active than sitting in a chair taking notes.  These are two things that I believe are crucial to keeping a student interested in what they are learning.

Another thing that makes technology in the classroom important is the world's technology is rapidly getting more advanced.  Students need to stay up to date on this technology so when they grow up they can use it and keep improving it.

The only pitfall I can think of is if we use more technology, there will be less reading.  Students will always need to be strong readers so when we use more and more technology, we need to make sure that the students reading scores stay high.

    I agree students are more active when working with technology but as the teacher you have to make sure their using the technology productivly instead of exploring other places and not listening to the lesson.

    Students are more active while using technology in the classrom and i also agree with the more technology we use the less students will read.

    Do you think that technology will keep students more active in the classroom? There are a lot of online game sites out there as well as social media. I do believe that technology in the classroom is important, butI really don't think it's beneficial for the students if used all the time.
